Ides: 50,000 Midsummer Words : Ides is a public project not dissimilar to NaNoWriMo on a somewhat smaller scale. It's first run is June 15 to July 15 2008, and all are invited to join and participate. There is no official word counting or verification at the end, we just want to get down and do some writing, and we'd love to have you along. Simply sign up on the Ides forum, introduce yourself, and write. If you are coming to this later than June 15, note that we're being a little flexible on dates of joining and the cutoff for your 50k word novella. See site for more information.
